Remote Call Center Opportunity with Houston Based Group 1 Automotive


Group 1 Automotive is seeking Customer Engagement Specialists who will follow up on potential internet and phone leads. Customer Engagement Specialists are responsible for responding to customer purchase inquires, checking the availability of dealership stock, and scheduling customers in at the dealership for a test drive. A successful candidate will have ability to multi-task, be a team player, and have a pleasant personality. Location: 6161 Rothway Houston TX 77040 (OFFICE POSITION)

Salary: $15 HR +Uncapped Bonus Plan

Shift: 9:30-6:30pm + Rotating Saturdays (40 hour work week)

You will:

  • Be the customer’s first interaction and introduction to the company
  • Be responsible for daily customer follow up
  • Be responsible for managing your own time and responding to leads promptly
  • Always put the customer first
  • Be comfortable using Google search, multiple computer browsers at once, and speaking to customers via phone/email


What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have some sales experience
  • Possess an intermediate level of multi-tasking and computer skills
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience is a Plus
  • Ability to adapt to sudden business and industry changes as it directly effects automotive service operation
  • Superb verbal & written communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and other languages are a Plus
  • Perfect attendance and punctuality record 
  • Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency to get the job done
  • Superior time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • High speed internet connection of > 10 mbps Upload and > 10 mbps download for remote work
  • Quiet home office suitable for call center, customer service work for remote work
