Responsibilities
• Complete daily bank reconciliation reports for each bank account and set group of stores
• Communicate with other departments on reconciling items
• Perform the reconciliation and verification of all cash accounts
• Maintain required files, reports, and data in DocuWare
• Distribute daily MS Excel bank reconciliation files
• Maintain constant contacts with stores and other departments
• Continuously follow up all transactions and provide updates to the management team
• Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all reconciliation activities
• Update ERP system to reflect the reconciliation
• Perform all other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization
Qualifications
• Prior dealership accounting experience a plus
• Prior bank reconciliation experience a plus
• Experience using CDK a plus
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Must be able to work extended hours at month-end
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy
• High school diploma or equivalent required
