Responsibilities
• Maintain Payroll demographic data and pay change updates;
• Process Payroll on scheduled dates for 700-1000 employees multi-state/cycles;
• Review reporting for accuracy and reconciliation to accounting balances;
• Process garnishments and manual checks as needed;
• Process and reconcile benefits to include monitoring cap level not exceeded;
• Process terminations properly and timely;
• Maintain the proper review of PTO balances with no one exceeding set allowances;
• Process and review timesheets for accuracy;
• Handle direct deposits and process paper checks;
• Provide information and answer employee questions about payroll related matters; and
• Other projects or duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, verbal, written and organization skills
- Time management with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient with payroll software
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Word, Excel and Internet applications
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- High school diploma/GED required
- At least three years of related experience required
