Responsibilities
• Reconcile payroll bank accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and distribute ACH transactions from payroll provider to appropriate department.
• Reconcile ACH transactions with taxes, net pay, agency and stale checks.
• Perform and distribute final reconciliations to Dealership Accounting Managers by deadline.
• Maintain log for processed tax amendments.
• Reconcile and distribute employee benefit schedules, including 401k, ESPP, medical benefits, deferred compensation, and other benefit-related accounts.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, verbal, written and organization skills
- Time management with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient with payroll software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Word, Excel and Internet applications
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- At least three to five years of related payroll experience required.
