Accounts Receivable Department Personnel Responsibilities
Perform Daily Reconciliation and purification entries for dealership’s daily deposit
Receipt and inquire on in-house AR Customer Accounts
Post daily banking activity relating to Credit Card deposit, NSF, and daily deposits
Accounts Payable Department Personnel Responsibilities
Process and post daily approved AP Invoices
Process daily approved Check Request
Review Statement carrying items for purification
Process weekly, daily, and monthly payable processing
Billing and Inventory Department Personnel Responsibilities
Review Inventory additions for proper backup and enter into the DMS and Accounting system
Review and post all Vehicle Deal transactions
Review assigned accounting schedules for purification upon recording of sale or stock in
Prepare, Review and post all Sales Commissions for the assigned period
General Accounting Department Personnel Responsibilities
Perform factory, floorplan, and RDR reconciliations at month-end
Post daily banking activity for all assigned dealerships
Post monthly/weekly finance and insurance product statements/invoices
Post monthly finance reserve statements from lenders
Activate all finance and insurance policies sold by the dealership
Cancel any finance and insurance policies as requested by customers
Maintain all finance and insurance product account schedules
Assist in maintaining various other balance sheet account schedules
Prior dealership accounting experience required.
Experience using CDK is a plus.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Must be able to work extended hours at month-end
Great attitude with high-energy personality.
High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a plus.
