Group 1 Automotive (parent Company of the Sterling McCall Group) is seeking Customer Engagement Specialists who will be responsible for working closely with our Sales department to follow up on leads (calls/email/text) regarding potential customers who have shown an active interest in purchasing a vehicle. This is NOT a cold calling or commissioned based position! We provide paid training and the opportunity to earn uncapped bonuses after 90 days of hire. This position is located at our Business Support Center in Northwest Houston, the Customer Engagement Specialist is expected to deliver excellent customer service, provide a quality experience for our customers, and build confidence in our dealership’s ability to meet their automotive needs.  Salary:$12-$14 Hourly

 Shift: 7-4pm/8-5pm/9:30-6:30pm (Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays)

Keeping Our Employees Safe

Responsibilities

  • What You’ll Achieve

    • Demonstrate attention to detail regarding client documentation and follow-ups
    • Work toward 100% conversion of every inbound customer call and internet inquiry to a scheduled appointment to increase new and pre-owned sales
    • Follow up on all inquiries to ensure resolution satisfies customer, dealership, and company expectations
    • Accurately advise customers on vehicle descriptions and quote pricing following specific dealership locations, products, and services for all brands within Group 1’s network
    • Learn to meet core performance standards tied to your financial gain

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday and rotating weekends between the hours of 7 am-7 bpm, 40 hours a week
  • Possess an intermediate level of multi-tasking and computer skills
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to sudden business and industry changes as it directly affects automotive service operation
