Overview

The Group 1 Automotive (parent Company of the Sterling McCall Group) is seeking Customer Engagement Specialists to follow up with customer inquiries and create a first class customer experience with the goal of scheduling dealership appointments. Located at our Business Support Center in Northwest Houston, the Customer Engagement Specialist is expected to deliver excellent customer service, provide a quality experience for our customers, and build confidence in our dealership’s ability to meet their automotive needs. Group 1 Automotive provides a positive culture, direct interaction with upper management, an amazing team and a visible path of career growth.

 

$11-14 per hour plus bonus

Responsibilities

Keeping Our Employees Safe

  • Masks are required in common areas throughout the office
  • Company will supply each employee with a washable face mask at no charge
  • Breakrooms and workstations are configured for safe social distancing
  • Daily cleaning crew providing regular disinfecting of contact surfaces
  • Occupancy is limited in restrooms and training rooms

  • Provide solutions for our customer and appointments for our dealerships.
  • Accurately present vehicle choices and discuss models and options
  • Respond to all vehicle inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Quote pricing in accordance with specific dealership instruction
  • Learn to manage your time and always put the customer first
  • Learn to meet core performance standards tied to your own financial gain

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday and rotating weekends between the hours of 7 am-9 pm, 35-40 hours a week
  • Possess an intermediate level of multi-tasking and computer skills
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to sudden business and industry changes as they directly affect automotive service operations
