Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of customer nonpublic information at all times.
  • File and maintain repair orders according to respective manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Provides clerical and administrative assistance to departments as needed.
  • Acts as backup to receptionist/cashier.
  • Must be organized and able to multitask.
  • Greet and welcome service customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
  • Handle customer follow-up calls and letters to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Delivery inter-office items to accounting, corporate offices, sales department, parts department, collision center.
  • Update the customer’s service history file according to the procedures specific to the department’s service history system.
  • File repair orders as directed by service department management.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • One or more years’ experience in an automotive dealership/service department is a plus.
  • Proficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel and Word.
  • ADP Dealer Services Experience a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Great attitude with high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
